Emma Britten
Illustrator / Art Educator

Hello! I’m an illustrator based in the Midlands, UK, passionate about connecting people with nature through my art and creativity. I started The Wild Patch to share my passion for living slowly and more consciously.

Through my illustrations and creative workshops, I aim to help people notice and appreciate the beauty in their surroundings, fostering a deeper connection with the natural world. My workshops combine drawing, making and observation to explore themes of mindfulness, nature appreciation and freedom of expression.

My illustrations celebrate the joy of everyday life, a respect for green spaces and the beauty of our natural environment. I’ve collaborated with businesses such as coffee shops, beekeepers, craft centres and small-conscious fashion brands to bring their brands to life. My illustration style has an organic and approachable quality that conveys a sense of calm. I like to immerse myself in the environment and draw from life to create authentic and original work.
